Security & Privacy

What Eagle View actually reads from your mailbox, and what it never touches — stated plainly, not buried in a policy document.

What Eagle View reads
  • Subject line, sender, and date/time of each message
  • Read / flagged / starred status
  • Calendar meeting details needed to show your day and join a call (including extracting a Teams join link when present)
What Eagle View never touches
  • The body or content of any email — not stored, not sent anywhere, not even requested from Outlook or Gmail's APIs
  • Attachments
  • Anything beyond the metadata above, by design — not a setting you have to turn off

Where your account access lives

Eagle View connects directly to Microsoft Graph or Google's Gmail API using your own sign-in — your mail provider handles authentication, and Eagle View never sees or stores your password. Everything it does read is fetched live and used only to show it back to you in the app; it isn't collected into a separate database of your mail activity.

License & trial data

To run your trial and validate a license key, Eagle View sends your email address, a device identifier, and (for license checks) a locally-computed key — nothing about your mail account itself. This is handled over HTTPS by our backend infrastructure.

Full Privacy Policy

For the complete legal privacy policy, including your rights under GDPR/DPDP and how to request data deletion, see Eagle View's full policy.
